2024
Refining the Line. Expanding the Reach.
2024 was about tightening the foundation. After launching a range of new products, we focused on clarity in what we offered, where we sold, and how we moved forward.
At the start of the year, we introduced Showerbuds Pro, releasing Version 1 in January and Version 2 later that summer. Both versions were short-lived but critical, they helped us test new features, understand limitations, and ultimately led to the decision to discontinue the line entirely by year’s end in preparation for something more complete: Showerbuds Neo.
We also expanded our accessory line with the release of Showerbuds Covers, allowing for color customization, and a dedicated Silicone Case for protection. Both were later phased out as we began streamlining our product ecosystem.
In the middle of the year, we introduced the Shower Phone Holder a clean, functional solution for watching content in the shower and added the Colmi Smart Ring to our lineup, an activity-tracking wearable that aligned with our expanding vision of sound, movement, and wellness.
We also made critical changes to our swim audio lineup. The original Swim Buds were rebranded as Surface SwimPods, designed for surface-level use, while the higher-performing Swim Buds Pro became the new SwimPods — a move that consolidated the category under one flagship swim-focused product.
Beyond products, 2024 marked our quiet entry into Canada, Australia, and Europe. It wasn’t a loud expansion, but a deliberate step forward one that set the stage for what came next.

2025
The New Standard Begins
2025 marked a reset, not just in product, but in purpose. After two years of growth and feedback, we paused to rethink how our products were built, how they performed, and what our customers actually needed. It wasn’t about adding features, it was about rebuilding from the inside out.
In March, we released the AmbienceSound Shower Speaker™, our first step beyond earbuds. Built specifically for the shower, it was compact, immersive, and designed to bring energy to everyday routines without compromising on sound or style.
Then in May, we released our core product lineup: Showerbuds Neo, SwimPods Neo, and FreeSound ENC. Each one represented a shift not just improvements, but entirely new designs based on everything we’d learned from previous generations. Showerbuds Neo offered a sleeker fit, stronger waterproofing, and clearer sound. SwimPods Neo delivered true underwater audio performance. FreeSound ENC was built for everyday clarity, designed to handle daily life with comfort and precision.
This year also marks a step into what’s next. We’re currently developing our first over-ear earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation, and preparing the release of FreeSound ANC the next generation of our all-purpose earbuds, offering deeper, more focused sound control.
By year’s end, we’ll be releasing new color variants for the original Showerbuds and refined updates for customers who’ve been with us from the beginning.
Looking ahead, we’re developing entirely new categories. Sleep-focused earbuds and gym-ready models are now in early stages, with launches planned for early 2026. These will reflect the same design language and performance-first approach that has defined our latest releases.
AmbienceSound is evolving carefully, intentionally, and with the future in mind.
